We finished off the MarketingMachine this week and we covered the final 3 topics of video and then talked about Up-Selling/Cross-Selling and List Building!

Encoding Video

  • Use YouTube or Blip.tv as they do it all for you (public)
  • Use ffMpegX

Embedding Video

Tracking Video

  • YouTube Views
  • TubeMogul for syndicating your videos and tracking them
  • Google Analytics for your self-hosted videos.

It’s not about how many people are viewing your videos it is WHO!!!  Get the quality not the quantity so don’t get caught up on only having a handful of views, if it gets you what you want.

Up-Sell and Cross-Sell

  • Start with a FREE product (Report, eBook, Audio, Video…)
  • Free to Cheap (Inexpensive)
  • Cheap to Quality
  • Quality to EXTREME (Very high priced to make MAD profits ;-)

List Building Tips

  • Contests (Give away an iPod or something of value)
  • Facebook TAGGING (ask for permission and then tag up to 50 per video)
  • Facebook Ads (you can set low spending limits to get started)
  • GoogleTV Ads (get your message out to the masses on TV!)
  • Put your link 1st in your video descriptions so people can take action.
